Chemistry Post Prelim Revision
While we are at it let's just get all the admin stuffs over and done with.

Starting Oct 1 we will be celebrating children's day going through the chem specimen papers. I know that we don't have the materials yet. I will place the orders from the photocopy shop and distribute them probably on tuesday (monday if possible). Don't purchase them yourselves from the photocopy shop.

Financial-wise, I will see if Yan Zhi has available funds. If not, I will collect the money personally when I distribute.

Since Audi and LT3 will be doing different stuffs, I will get materials for both Audi and LT3 so we will have more stuffs to try out. If you don't wish to purchase all of them or already have some of them, please inform me one way or another.

Have a good sunday ;)

Return of Math Papers
hope everyone's enjoying post-prelims before we have our lousy post-prelims activities

we'll be getting back our math papers on the coming tuesday
venue - Audi
time - 1.30pm to 3pm

what to prepare for that day?

(1) PHYSICALLY:

Be sure to stay healthy.

(2) FINANCIALLY:

i'll settle this

(3) LOGISTICALLY:

(A) Bring your Prelim Exam Paper 1 & 2 Question Papers which you may need them to check through your answer scripts and tallying of marks, appeal etc.

(B) Bring with you answers scripts to 2007 Math Block Tests 1 & 2. We will need you to check through one last time your CA marks. For example, you may need the scripts to verify that you have gotten 60 marks for a test when the mark reflected on our side is 90... <= IMPT!!!

(C) Bring your stationery and GC!

(4) "SOCIALLY":

Behave properly, respect yourself and others, give a helping hand, a listening ear etc if applicable...

Probability of Scoring Full Marks for Chem MCQ
I know we all died for/on/during Chem Paper 2. But, there's always Chem MCQ to save our ass. Let's do the math:

Probability of scoring 40/40 for Chem MCQ, P(A)= (1/4)^40
= 8.27180613 X 10^-25

In comparison,

Probability of striking TOTO first prize, P(B) = 1 / (45 C 6) = 1/8145060
= 1.22773804 X 10^-7

Ratio of P(A) to P(B) = 8.27180613 X 10^-25 : 1.22773804 X 10^-7
= 1: 1.484244215 X 10^7

Therefore, you are 1.48X10^7, or 14800000 times more like to strike the first prize in TOTO than to score full marks for Chem MCQ this coming Thursday.

So, why are you still mugging for Chem MCQ??!?!! GO BUY TOTO NOW!!!
